I was very pleased with the Omaha Chamber’s Growth Consultation visit to ADS Biotec. I wasn’t sure what to expect at first, but once the conversation of our business started, we identified several areas where the Chamber could assist us with issues. The Chamber then followed up immediately and several meetings occurred to find resolution to our issues. I truly appreciate the Chamber’s support of existing businesses in the region.

Omaha continues its upward trajectory of expansion and the #1 destination for talent. Deloitte recently moved into a new Capitol District in the heart of Omaha’s Urban Core. reaffirming its strong, active presence in the greater Omaha region since the 1950s and increasing its footprint to better serve the Omaha community. We do not take for granted opportunities to work with for-profit businesses, nonprofits, local universities, the city, the state, and chambers of commerce.
As a global company, the options for locating our animal health biologics headquarters were virtually limitless. After senior leadership visited Nebraska and saw firsthand the local academic institutes and industry resources available for collaboration, the associated talent at hand for recruitment, the proximity to our regulatory agencies and the ability to stretch our investment dollar further, the decision to plant our business here became quite simple.
This is a premium location for expansion… This current expansion sets the stage for two more planned expansions in the future that will continue to have more Nebraska products developed from Nebraska research done in partnership between Vireo and the University of Nebraska.
When you look at the state of Nebraska, some of the economic policies and programs they have were certainly meaningful when it came to the overall evaluation of whether it made sense to locate this $600 million facility in Papillion, The Nebraska Department of Revenue was an excellent partner in helping us think through locating a site of this magnitude in a state like Nebraska and ultimately in the city of Papillion.
